Protestantism rightly understood is a principle. It is a principle which works out from the heart, which has influenced the doctrines of Churches, and which has transformed the course of nations.
Daniel is a significant book for us to study. We can take encouragement from this man who served his God with distinction in the most hostile society imaginable…We may consider our times to uncertain, but our situation was not as grim as the days experienced by Daniel. Yet still he kept his faith in God and he learned that in that darkest day God was on the throne.
The New Testament is the story of Christ’s ministry, his sacrifice and resurrection, the establishment of the Church and the proclamation of the Gospel among the Gentile peoples.
The little that we do is great if the Spirit of God is blessing. It is His power not our might which is the basic requirement of success.
